How the Ajio Seller Fee Calculator Works

Enter your base/COGS cost and your desired bank settlement, then select your Ajio model. The calculator works backwards — it computes the exact MRP / Selling Price you need to set on Ajio to achieve that settlement after all deductions.

Selling Price (MRP) = (Bank Settlement + Fixed Costs)
                        ÷ (1 − Commission% − GST on Commission%)
──────────────────────────────────────────
Where Fixed Costs = Logistics (₹95) + Returns (₹75) + Packaging
Net Profit = Bank Settlement − Base / COGS Cost
💡 Which model should you choose? If you're a new or growing D2C brand, Emerging Brand (23%) gives the best margins. Fixed CC (38%) suits established brands who want Ajio to fully manage operations. Gram (35%) is weight-based and works for heavier items. Luxe (23%) is for premium/luxury labels only.
⚠️ Returns Can Destroy Margins Fashion return rates on Ajio can be 25–40%. A ₹999 product with 38% commission + ₹95 logistics + ₹75 return logistics leaves you with only ₹249 settlement — before your base cost. Model and pricing strategy are critical.

Frequently Asked Questions — Ajio Seller Fees & Models

What commission does Ajio charge sellers?
Ajio commission varies by model: Fixed CC is 38%, Gram Model is 35%, and both Emerging Brand and Ajio Luxe are 23% of the selling price. In addition, 18% GST is applied on the commission amount, making the effective deduction higher. Use our calculator above to see the exact impact on your product.
What is the difference between Ajio Fixed and Emerging Brand model?
The Fixed CC model (38%) is for established brands — Ajio takes a higher cut but manages all operations including logistics and returns (no returns to brand). The Emerging Brand model (23%) charges a much lower commission and is designed for growing D2C brands, but returns are charged at ₹75 per unit back to the seller.
What are Ajio logistics charges for sellers?
Ajio charges ₹95 per order for forward logistics (delivery to customer). If a customer returns the product, an additional ₹75 return logistics charge applies per unit (for Emerging, Gram and Luxe models). Fixed CC model does not charge return logistics as Ajio absorbs returns.
What is the Ajio Gram model?
The Ajio Gram model (35%) is suited for heavier or bulkier fashion items such as ethnic wear, occasion wear, and heavier fabrics. Commission is 35% with ₹75 return logistics. It sits between Fixed and Emerging in terms of commission rate and operational responsibility.
What is Ajio Luxe?
Ajio Luxe is Ajio's curated premium and luxury fashion segment. It charges a 23% commission (same as Emerging Brand) but is exclusively for luxury, designer, and premium fashion labels. Ajio Luxe buyers typically have higher average order values, making it very attractive for premium brands despite similar commission rates.
What is the minimum selling price recommended on Ajio?
Given the fixed ₹95 logistics + 18% GST on commission, we recommend a minimum selling price of ₹599–₹799 for Emerging Brand sellers and ₹999+ for Fixed CC sellers to maintain a positive margin after deductions. Use our calculator above to model your specific product.
How long does it take to get onboarded on Ajio?
DIY Ajio applications typically take 6–12 weeks due to multi-stage approvals — brand approval, GSTIN verification, size chart submission, and catalogue review. With Global Websters' Ajio Onboarding Service, most brands go live within 3–5 weeks with expert guidance at every gate.
